Armed Security Officers must undergo PA Act 235 Lethal Weapons Training Certification, which consists of training over two weeks and contingent upon the officer’s ability to successfully pass examinations.
Officers are required to undergo internal training annually to ensure subject matter expertise and compliance with corporate safety policies and standard operating procedures. All armed officers are required to wear protective ballistic vests at all times to ensure personal safety.

EMPLOYEE / VISITOR ACCESS CONTROL SECURITY IDENTIFICATION
Peak will print employee and visitor access control identification cards on a daily basis. Employee and visitor ID’s will greatly help maintain access control and identify individuals who may need to access the site after hours or on weekends. Officers will be able to cross reference ID’s with a master site access control list while on post should there be any issues with an employees credentials. Peak can custom design an ID to accommodate the district’s needs with ease.
EMERGENCY OPERATIONS PLANNING AND THREAT ASSESSMENTS
Peak offers to assist clients in the development of a comprehensive EOP Plan for your facility and properties. We will work with local law enforcement, government agencies, and emergency services to design a plan that mitigates the risks of potential risks and threats that could endanger the facility’s ability to function. We conduct routine Threat Assessments to identify potential risks. If an assessment indicates that there is a risk for violence or criminal activity, Peak will collaborate with facility management and other key staff members to develop and implement a plan to manage or reduce the threat posed to the facility.
OMEGA SECURITY SERVICE INC.
Our affiliate company, Omega Security Services, Inc. is a full service security systems installation dealer providing intrusion detection, fi re protection, access control and video surveillance systems. All Peak clients receive free annual inspections of their systems and discounts on systems maintenance, upgrades, and new installations at the clients request. Omega technicians will provide training on all of the security systems that officers will be required to utilize and monitor during their shifts.
